Free Mainframe Assembler

Tachyon Software is pleased to announce the availablity of the free Tachyon Legacy Assembler for the free Hercules Emulator.

The Tachyon z/Assembler is the only assembler capable of generating object code for all IBM zSeries operating systems, including Linux for S/390 and zSeries, z/OS, OS/390, VSE, VM and TPF.

Now the IBM HLASM compatible subset of the Tachyon z/Assembler is available free for use on IBM S/390 and zSeries computers. This new offering is called the Tachyon Legacy Assembler and is currently available for Linux for S/390 and zSeries running on the Hercules Emulator.
