Tachyon Update Utility - Control Statements
IEBUPDTE control statements are documented in the
IBM DFSMSdfp Utilities
manual. The manual also has many examples of IEBUPDTE usage.
This guide shows the IEBUPDTE control statements and parameters
supported by the Tachyon Update Utility but does not include the
details about each parameter which are already provided in the
DFSMS/MVS Utilities manual.
Control statements have four fields:
- The first two characters
must be "./" to identify the statement as a control statement.
- Column 3 of the control statement must contain either a blank or the
first character of the label field. If a label is present, it must be
followed by one or more blanks. The label field is not used by IEBUPDTE
or the Tachyon Update Utility.
- The operation identifier follows the label field.
- The parameter field (if any) follows the operation identifier and
one or more blanks.
