Free C Compiler Interface

Tachyon Software is pleased to announce the availablity of version 2.2 of the Tachyon z/Assembler with a free GCC C compiler interface.

The Tachyon z/Assembler is the only assembler capable of generating object code for all IBM zSeries operating systems, including Linux for S/390 and zSeries, z/OS, OS/390, VSE, VM and TPF. With the release of version 2.2 of the Tachyon z/Assembler, you can now assemble the output of the free, open-source GCC C-language compiler, generating object files for z/OS, OS/390 and Linux for S/390 and zSeries. The GCC interface is available for free from Tachyon Software, allowing C programmers to use the highly optimizing GCC compiler for OS/390 programming.
