Tachyon z/Assembler Enhancements

Tachyon Software offers the newest assembler capabilities in version 2.3 of the Tachyon z/Assembler.

Version 2.3 of the Tachyon z/Assembler supports the following new features of IBM’s High Level Assembler V1.5:

• ASCII character terms, constants and literals.
• Longer SETC variables and macro call parameters.
• Quadword aligned constants.
• Greater than doubleword section and CNOP alignment.
• 64-bit J, Q, R and V address types.
• Condensed USING heading.

Version 2.3 of the Tachyon z/Assembler has been available since early February 2004. Most of these features were available with version 2.2.12 in March 2003. A new release of the Tachyon z/Assembler will be available soon with comprehensive support for the HLASM 1.5 features and more.
