Tachyon Un-Xmit can be invoked via either a Windows Graphical User Interface or the Command Line Interface described here. The Command Line Interface is invoked via the tux program. The most obvious way to start the tux program is by opening a command-line window and typing the command. The tux program can also be started from other programs or script files.
The tux program can be run entirely via the command line options or it can be run in prompted interactive mode or in a combination of the two. The command line parameters provide answers to the questions that would be asked in interactive mode. If the appropriate command line parameter is specified, the corresponding question will not be asked and the value from the command line parameter will be used as the answer.
