Tachyon Assembler Workbench Version 3.0 Announcement
January 3, 2004:
Tachyon Software is pleased to announce the availability of
version 3.0 of the Tachyon Assembler Workbench.
All three products that make up the Tachyon Assembler have been upgraded:
Tachyon z/Assembler 3.0
Tachyon z/Assembler 3.0 was released on
September 1, 2004 with support for the
features of IBMs High Level Assembler release 5.
Subsequent maintenance releases have added System z9-109, z9-bc and z10 support
and improved error checking, message clarity and code page support.
Tachyon File Tools 3.0
Tachyon File Tools 3.0 has improved character
set translation through the use of EBCDIC and ASCII code page settings.
This allows the the EBCDIC national code points X'5B', X'7B' and X'7C'
to be reassigned to characters other than '$', '#' and '@'.
Tachyon Operating System 3.0
Tachyon Operating System 3.0 also uses
the same character set translation as the Tachyon z/Assembler and
Tachyon File Tools. In addition, the BDAM access method is supported
and the debugger allows event traps to be set and triggered
when modules are loaded into memory.
If you dont yet have a copy of the Tachyon z/Assembler, you can download a
demonstration copy and try it for yourself.
If you are already licensed for any Tachyon Software product, download the
updates today!
